"Happiness is a state of mind, not a destination."
Now that's an easy word. Happiness. Frankly, I don't understand how people act like their happiness is based on other people. That idea is quite appalling for me because when you say that your happiness is 'based' on someone, you're implying that they, only they, can make you happy and nothing else. And that, honestly, is ridiculous.
YoU are the only one who can make yourself happy. YoU are the only person who can control/direct your emotions. YoU are the only person who is responsible for your mood swings. So when others say they're upset because of someone/ something, its moreover like, someone wronged you and you choose to be upset over it instead of moving on with your life.
People will hurt you all the time. People are insensitive and rude and selfish so believe me, they will hurt you when and if they can but it is on you if you wanna cry over it or if you wanna deal with it and be happy. Bad things happen to everyone. Everyone's pet dies someday, everyone has to deal with parting ways with someone close but that does not mean you let it bring you down. Sure, you get to be sad every now and then, cry over what your loved one said but for pensiveness to take over you is a choice. Be happy with what you have. Accept the universal truth: People always leave. Anything that has come will go too. And remember one integral policy in life: yoU are the only person who is responsible for your happiness.

Insecurities and Drama
I think, that despite everything, despite all the hurt and the fights and the shit we go through, despite all the tears we cry or the cigarettes we smoke, we are all just craving for a little drama, inside. No, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about cus you do. Despite all our craziness and cravings, despite all our tears put together, irrespective of how much we complain, we are all indeed looking for a tad drama. Because thats how we are. Because its human nature to be looking for something to look forward to. To have something exciting and happening yet depressing to think about. It's like they say "why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when you stop." We all go through loads and loads of shit in our lives. There's a breaking point for all of us. There's this time where we think of ourselves as 'unworthy', yes there are such times for an egoistic person as me too. But think about it, how interesting would your life be without all the drama and the hatred and the tears and fights? Well, I say it wouldn't be interesting at all. Cus I guess it's like what they say, deep down inside, we are all just looking for a bit trouble
