Have you ever wanted to go back in time? When all you wanted
to do was to erase or redo that one thing? Or in my case, certain things. We
all have a past. While some people’s past is painful, other’s is dark. Some
people have a humiliating past while other’s have a fearful one. But we all
come with baggage. It’s like they say “People have scars in all sorts of
unexpected places, like secret road maps of their personal histories.” So we've all been there.
Despite of what you want and what you need, one thing that is
certain is you can’t go back in time. You can’t undo or redo things. What’s
done is done. What’s been said has been said. What’s lost is lost. I don’t know
if you lost love or if you were harassed. Now that it has been done, you can’t
take it back. The only thing you can actually do is mend it. Mend your broken
heart; mend your low self esteem, whatever. Just stop wasting your time
thinking about what you could’ve done or what you should’ve. Stop picturing the
scene in your head for the 100th time. Save yourself the time,
energy and tears. Because, take it from someone who has been there. If it was
meant to happen, it would've I’m sorry to break into your dream world but move
on from whatever it is that you’re holding on to. Don’t think about how it
would have been like had that one little thing didn't happen. ‘Cause it did. Living
in a fantasy world thinking about going back and taking it back is barely going
to help. So stop.
